  The short version: MindM8 processes your reflections on your device. We do not store, read, or transmit your conversations. We collect no personal data. We use aggregate, anonymous analytics to understand how the app is used overall.

What data stays on your device

When you use MindM8, your reflections and conversations are processed on your device. Your words are sent to an AI model to generate responses, but they are not stored on any server after the response is generated. MindM8 does not maintain conversation logs, user profiles, or session histories on our infrastructure.

Any data you choose to save (such as session reflections) is stored locally on your device using your browser's local storage. We cannot access this data.

The content of your reflections or conversations
Your location (precise or approximate)
Contacts, photos, or any other device data
Health or biometric data

What we do collect

We use aggregate, anonymous analytics to understand how MindM8 is used overall. This includes:

Page views and general usage patterns (via Vercel Analytics)
Country-level geographic data (not city or precise location)
Device type and browser information
App performance metrics (load times, errors)

If you install MindM8 via Google Play, Google provides us with aggregate install statistics, crash reports, and device compatibility data. This data is anonymous and cannot be linked to individual users. Google's own data practices are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

AI processing

MindM8 uses AI to generate reflective responses. Your input is sent to the AI model to produce a response and is not retained after processing. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. The AI provider's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and data processing agreement.

Cookies and tracking

MindM8 does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not serve ads. We do not share data with third-party advertisers. Vercel Analytics operates without cookies and does not track individual users across sessions.

Children

MindM8 is intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. The app includes an age verification step before sessions begin.

Data security

Because we do not collect or store personal data, there is minimal data to protect on our end. All communication with the app is encrypted via HTTPS. Local data on your device is protected by your device's own security measures.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is no personal data for us to provide, correct, or delete. You can clear your local session data at any time by clearing your browser's storage for mindm8.app.
